What can I do for Palestine?

In the grand scheme of things, how can I make a difference in the world? Many of us troubled by the genocide in Palestine are repeatedly tortured by this question, "What can I do?"

Sometimes when you read what's happening in the world today, your stress level goes high and you feel the need for a short escape to recharge your positive energy. What I personally do is read Islamic History. In it, I find the comfort of knowing how the Ummah has dealt with similar situations before, and it also helps me in deciding what my role is in making the Ummah better. I then close the book and go back to the reality of our world, but much more energized to get things done and contribute in the best possible way. Try it!

To know my role, I analyze the following:
1- What talents and strengthens Allah gave me, and what weaknesses I have.
2- What are the Ummah's biggest needs, and where do I fit in.
3- What are the opportunities, and what are the obstacles.
4- What help is available to me, from friends and family.
5- What is the most unique thing that I could do, that not many other people could do.

Insha'Allah if you analyze this, and keep trying (no one is expected to get things right the first few times), and keep asking Allah for guidance to help you, you will know what's the best role you could have, and Allah will shape you into that role as long as you keep working hard and learning from your mistakes while consistently educating yourself.
