I am obsessed with spending quality time with people and build meaningful relationships. I now realize that it isn't all it is cracked up to be. I have since learned that marriage, friendship, family ... it's all overrated. People with the closest propinquity to my heart are not cruel, they are just busy. The continual pursuit to find time with them only compromises the adventure and discovery which my life is meant to be. Counting on other people to make me happy is a cop-out. My pleasure should be my priority. Besides my existence should be for a purpose. Not a person!
