T - 36 - I am grateful to Allah who made this world so dazzling - even though I only have access to the world through documentaries, the prominence of mountain summits is stunning, the expanse of the seas is mystical, and the unfolding of the life of flowers is absolutely charming. Everything that Allah has created in on this planet (and beyond), is nothing short of a well designed and orchestrated, awe inspiring and wonderful miracle.
Beauty is not only in the things that we consume - a painting or a piece of furniture or a delicacy. Outside our bedroom/office window, the landscape (overlooking a parking lot or a tennis court) is just as pleasant as the Amazon river or Bora Bora island, all year long….To the attentive eye, Allah has crafted each moment of the year with its own beauty. And in the same field it beholds, every hour, a picture which was never seen before, and which shall never be seen again.
At night I went out to the balcony and into the dark and saw a glimmering crescent moon and heard the wind whisper. It was a new scene, a new experience, a new blessing, Thank You Allah.
