Jews in Medina

Jews were already well established in Medina two centuries before Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w)'s birth. Influential, the Jews were expert jewelers, weapons and armour makers. There were many Jewish clans, up to more than twenty. The most prominent were Banu Nadir, Banu Qaynuya and Banu Qurayza. Jewish clans were aware of the coming of the final Prophet so following the traditions within the Talmud, they had moved to Medina to welcome the final Prophet.

Following are some videos which discuss the prophesy of the final prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) in the Torah and the Bible. The first two are a bit sensationalist, the final video is a lecture presentation by Shaykh Abdur Raheem Green, a Christian convert to Islam. Alhamdulillah, he offers a two part lecture to explain in detail the many incidents were the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) is mentioned in the Bible.

Enjoy :)
