Allah offers escape and guidance. We choose to remain in shackles, behind walls.
For a second I envy this turtle. It is not made to feel like an outcast. It is not told to be patient. It is free to enjoy the adventure and beauty with which Allah created this universe. Many Muslims forget this, the purpose of life is not suffering (we are not Bhudist). Allah says, "It is He who made the earth tame for you - so walk among its slope and eat of His provision - and to Him is the resurrection" (Qur'an, 67:15). We can enjoy life as long as we don't become totally heedless of giving account on the Day of Judgement.
Sometimes textbooks and lectures are not enough.
Sometimes emaan has to be supplemented through seeing the signs of Allah.
These divers remind me of modern day example of Prophet Yunus (a.s)...

SubhanAllah! Such colossal creatures and yet so calm and subservient.
Allah commanded these whales to not topple the tiny boat and devour or seriously injure the flimsy humans because He has prescribed mercy over Himself and His mercy prevails over His anger.
I am going to try this with my brothers some day inshaAllah
