Surah Kafiroon - Highlights

They were not saying that we reject your god. If you ask them who created the heavens and the earth, they would swear and def. say Allah. Their crime was only shirk. So Allah calls them Kafiroon. They were just compromising but still this stern name is issued against them.  Although they were doing shirk, their years of refusal, denial because kuffar. They disbelieved in their own conscious (our souls testified to the oneness of Allah).
Kuffar is also denial of a blessing. They had this favour of having a messenger from amongst them, reading to them a revelation in their language and he is mercy to all the worlds and he is debating with them in the most beautiful way (debates are usually ugly and nasty). Still they did not listen.
Making Da'wah is like sales, you are trying to get others to take this product from you. If the salesman is desperate, so the customer make some bargain. Throw some discount and give some free stuff on the side. So Allah is saying no you (s.a.w) are not desperate, in fact you don't even respond to them, I will respond to them قُلْأَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ
Your cemented Kuffar. You were, are and will be in disbelieve. Their fate is sealed, there is no hope for them. This is referring to a specific group. He exhausted his efforts on you (s.a.w) and you didn't budget then the only description left for you is this.
This indicates that the time of da'wah is done.

This Surah is not for every person.

لَا أَعْبُدُ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ
I do not worship what مَا pathetic things you worship. Such lowly things. I disassociate myself from them. These dead, defunct objects are pitiable. I will never worship them.

Your religion is only for you, it is never ever going to be for me. Between you and I there is never going to be an exchange. I am living this town.
These ayaat are the precursors of hijrah. So if he said (s.a.w) that the door are closed, he has given up his citizenship and declared war on their gods, there is no reason for the prophet (s.a.w) to stay in Makkah anyway.

لَكُمْ دِينُكُمْ وَلِيَ دِينِ
Exchange, government, necessitates an authority. People get exactly what they deserve and what they own.
So your judgment is only for you. Hellfire is only for you at this point. My judgment, special one with Allah is only for me (s.a.w). So let's see who comes out on top.
They are not going to collide with words but now the swords will clank. There is a conflict embedded in this ayaat. In order for the prophet's mission to be complete, the idols from the Ka'bah have to go. It is part of his prophethood to purify the House only for the sake of Allah. So you keep doing what you are doing and I will do my Deen that I am doing and lets see who is overcome.

دِينِ - it is not deeneee but deeni
It is emphatic, to show desperation, to cry. It means exclamation.
