Brief Summary of JUZ "9".

·        Ayah 88-100 Story of Shuaib (a.s)

·        Ayah 103-171Story Story of Musa (a.s) and Bani Israeel

·        Ayah 176-177 – the sad analogy of a dog;

-whether you drive him away or leave him alone, it will always loll its tongue out. This is the example of people Allah tried to elevate by giving them the knowledge of  His revelations, but they cling to mundane earthly things and follow their own desires. They have no sense of what is good/bad for them in the long run.

·        Ayah 180 – Learn the Names of Allah

- call upon Allah with His Beautiful Names and do not associate with those who deviate from their correct understanding.

·        Ayah 187 – The Day of Judgement will come suddenly

All the inhabitants of the heavens are terrified of its coming.

Every Friday, do we think, today could have been the Day of Judgement?

·        Ayah 189-192 – Allah p wife provides a man with a wife in order that he might enjoy the pleasure of living with her.

Then Allah blesses him with a child. Yet he is unthankful to Allah.

·        Ayah 199 – Rule of Thumb

-Show forgiveness, enjoin what is good and turn away from the foolish

·        Ayah 201 – When an evil thought comes, remember Allah and you will be able to see clearly

·        Ayah 204 – Listen to the recitation of Qur’an with silence so you an understand its meaning

·        Ayah 205 – Do morning and evening adkhaar (command from Allah, not optional)

Ayah 1 – Question about war booty.

Ayah 2-4 : The relationship a believer have with the Qur’an

Ayah 7-20: Allah helped the believers in battle by angels, rain and tranquility

Ayah 22: The attitude of the companions towards the Prophet (s.a.w) سمعنا و اطاعنا – we heard and we obeyed.
