Ayah
23-24 – description of Muharamaat, women who are forbidden for marriage
-Blood relations should be protected. Male
relatives are the guardians of the women in their family.
-Secret relations outside of marriage are
prohibited to protect the honour and emotional wellbeing of women.

31:
Allah will wipe out our minor sins on condition
that we abstain from major sins such as shirk, lies, backbiting, partaking in
interest based transactions etc.

Ayah
32:
-Allah swt favors each person with a different
blessing. We should not wish for what others have or be jealous of them. Accept
this is Allah’s division and Will
-Ask Allah for His favor when we see something we
like
-Gratitude to Allah incurs in more blessings from
Allah. Ingratitude results in losing His blessings

Ayah
34: Qualities of great wives:
-Righteous (sincere to Allah and do good deeds),
-Obedient (devout and steadfast),
-Chaste
-Cooperate with their husbands

36:
-Serve Allah, be on an excellent behaviour towards
parents , relatives, orphans, needy, and neighbors
-Allah swt is never unfair
- Even if we do a small good deed with sincerity
(for Allah), Allah will multiply the its reward and give us endless good

43: Wudhu and Tayammum
-It is necessary to purify oneself before the Salah
-Pre-salah purification is an action of worship
-Allah is very lenient and looks to create conveniences
for us
-It is important to understand what we are saying
in Salah

48:
-Shirt is a major sin – Giving the qualities of
Allah to someone else and/or obeying someone other than Allah as much as Allah
should be obeyed.

-Denying the ayaat of Allah = not acting upon them

-“Qaulam Baligha”
= speak with wisdom and have patience
over emotions, abstrain from negative confrontations which seek to humiliate
and embarrass others
-How to handle negative situations: ignore, if you
must confront – speak nicely, be a well wisher and say something that softens
the hearts.

66-68:
-Benefits of following the Sunnah: faith is
strengthened, guided towards the straight path and Ajar Adheem from Allah

77: Do not fear anyone other than Allah. Allah
controls all circumstances, not people

78 :
-People use to blame the Prophet (s.a.w) for their
problems.
-We are responsible for our own circumstances in
life.
-We create our luck with our hands – if we do good,
Allah will reward us with goodness in life. If we sin, we will suffer the
negative consequences of our sin. Sins make our lives difficult, obedience to
Allah makes our life easy and happy.
-Death is inevitable: eve if a person has an amazing
life despite their sins, death will catch up to them and then they will be
alone with Allah.

-Whatever good we have is from Allah and whatever
problems we face in our lives is what we have brought upon ourselves / is our
own doing.

-People plot and Allah also plans. Allah is fair
and justice prevails no matter how much people try to scheme against each
other.

Reflect upon the Qur’an
-Recite the Qur’an with meaning

-Investigate before you believe in rumours
-Do not disclose people’s faults

85: When we make a recommendation for a good cause, we become a part of the
cause. We get the same reward as someone working for the cause.
-encouraged to help people even if it is simply by
showing someone the way/helping them find direction or recipe etc.

86 :
-Assalamu aliakum warahmatullahi wabrakatuhu is a
duaa in form of a greeting. This evidences the elevated character of a believer
who is sincere, soft and a wellwisher for
others.
-We should greet others better than they have
greeted us (compete to have better character than others – be more gentle, more
lenient, more welcoming than the way others treat you).

-Minimizers - Allah has given them a lot,
but they are slaves to their moods

intelligence and available resources to gain the pleasure of Allah; they are
consistent in the path of Allah, they are saabiqoon; role Models and leaders

103 : remember Allah constantly in state of fear; increase dhikr

104: A lot of stamina is required to the work of Deen.
It is easy to lose hope and do a sloppy half-hearted job. Remember that you are
doing this for Allah and He deserves the best (even if your team/masjid/family
is not the best).

114:
-Najwah/secret whisperings or private conversations
in a gathering is disliked. Even making gestures with eyes to seclude or mock
someone is discouraged.
-It is recommended to give sadaqah in secret.

116: Shirk is an unforgiveable sin. You cannot do
something more worst with your life than associate partners with Allah
·
Ayah131:
Allah directs us to adopt Taqwa; be mindful, aware, conscious

: 133-134 : If Allah wants He could replace us with people who
have more taqwa; We are privileged to have the opportunity to worship Allah
·
Ayah
140: Do not sit in the company of people who are making
fun of Allah. It is possible that their jokes may change your heart can cause
to you leave Allah.

142: The hypocrites stand up for Salah with laziness

147: Allah has no need to punish us if we are grateful.
